Requirements & Responsibilities
- Work closely with our architecture team, application owners and technical folks in strategizing and prioritizing the application that can be migrated to AWS.
- Work on designing a right sized environment in AWS (both IaaS and PaaS) with a focus on compute, storage and network requirements.
- Engineer state-of-the-art technical solutions on AWS that address customers’ requirements for scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with customers business and other Subject matter expertise (SMEs) on technical solutions and help improve service to the customer.
- Experience working in public cloud platforms: AWS and Amazon AWS; more specifically working with data bases on these platforms + AWS EC2 and AWS Infrastructure.
- Deep Knowledge in troubleshooting database performance issues on AWS; issue identification and propose remediation strategies.
- Experience in AWS portal & AWS resource manager in cloud deployments.
- Configuration and deployment experience in two or more of the following: AWS PaaS technologies, AWS apps technologies, Azure IaaS Technologies such as VMs, Virtual networks, Direct Connect, Standard/Premium storage etc.
- Firm grasp on cloud security, leveraging Windows operating systems, Active Directory, AD integration
- Expert in building AWS solutions that include high availability, multi-region and multi-set architectures using virtual networks, availability sets and affinity groups.
- Familiar with infrastructure as code, specifically Terraform and AWS Resource Manager.
