Key Responsibilities
Responsible for identifying, defining and maintaining master data definitions and corresponding metadata, supporting the creation and maintenance of the business glossary, creating and maintaining the data dictionaries and data lineages
- Ensure the quality and availability of that data as defined by the Data Owners of respective data domains, and coordinate the delivery efforts of that data under proper controls
- Perform system analysis, gap analysis, data profiling, current and accurate system documentation, demonstrate proof of concept and identify needed system training, educational tools, and materials as a result of activities.
- Prepare data dictionary, metadata lineage, business glossaries, DG processes and policies
- Maintain and support the tools, processes, and procedures for complying with the Enterprise Data Governance policy and standards associated with monitoring and addressing the quality and integrity of the organizations Master Data (i. e. Change Management Procedures and Workflow for maintaining Master Data) for Cognizant’s data domains
