JOB REQUIREMENTS
As a Java Developer with ZydeSoft, you must possess strong analytic, problem solving, and customer service skills coupled with a keen attention to detail. In order to succeed in this position, you must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently to meet the teams common goals.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS OF THIS ROLE INCLUDE:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of relevant, professional experience
- Knowledge in HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, Java, Servlets, JSP, Hibernate, Spring, Webservices and relational database.
- Knowledge in version control and change management processes, policies and principals
- Knowledge on PHP is an added advantage.
- Ability to apply available technologies to overcome obstacles and effectively execute the needs of our clients
- Ability to meet various key performance evaluation measures, including client satisfaction, meeting deadlines and goals, effective communication and collaboration, etc.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE INCLUDE:
- Working with the appropriate show team members to ensure show objectives are being achieved
- Meeting all WP deadlines per the production schedule and internal show requests
- Delivering of all show requests in a timely manner
- Providing technical guidance as well as mentor junior developers and team members
- Participating in design and code reviews. Mentoring the team about best practices and coding standards
- Communicating potential missed deadlines to your supervisor and team members in a timely fashion
- Understanding the clients needs and offer solutions that fit within our current product/service offering
